Books for the Homebound
“I am so grateful for this service! I don’t know what I’d do without it!”
Love to read but having trouble getting to the library?
Books for the Homebound is for you!
This is a free service available to all residents of Fountain Hills that are homebound for any reason and already have a library card or are eligible to obtain one.
How to get started
Simply fill out the form and a volunteer will contact you to set up an appointment to come to your home and complete the application process. You can also call 602-652-3271 to leave your contact information.
Friends volunteers provide this service to homebound library patrons.
The goal of the program is to provide one volunteer for one homebound library patron. Volunteers usually spend approximately two hours every other week to check out and deliver books for the homebound library patron and then return the previously checked out books to the library.
The day and time to deliver books will be worked out between the homebound patron and the volunteer.
Please consider enriching the life of a homebound person with books from the library.
